The cultural association LIBA, founded in Pontedera in 1997 on the initiative of Alessandro Gamba, has always had as its main purpose the diffusion of contemporary art; a place to observe and debate art. During his career he has exposed historical masters and young artists, from the post-war period to the present day. Courses have been organized on contemporary and painting. Great space was also given to the sculpture which culminated with a series of public art interventions sponsored by the municipality.
